Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove the entire 12-count block of Hawaiian rolls from the package in one piece. Use a long, serrated bread knife to cut them horizontally into two layers. Place the bottom layer on a foil-lined or lightly greased baking pan (9x13 or cookie sheet often works best). I suggest spraying the foil with non-stick cooking spray.
Spread about 2 Tablespoons of honey mustard mixture over the cut side of the bottom layer of rolls. Layer half of the deli turkey evenly over the honey mustard.Top the turkey with cheddar cheese slices, arranging them so that each slider will have cheese on it.Repeat with the remaining turkey and cheddar cheese. Place the top layer of rolls over the cheese.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic (or garlic powder) and dried parsley. Use a pastry brush to generously brush the garlic butter mixture all over the tops of the rolls. Let the butter drip down the sides and on the bottom of the rolls.
Cover the sliders with aluminum foil (spray the side that will be touching the rolls with non-stick cooking spray) for the first 15 minutes. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 18-24 minutes total, or until the cheese is fully melted and the tops are lightly golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let them cool for about 5 minutes. If you are adding pickles, add them after the sliders are baked. Use a sharp knife to cut the sliders. Serve warm.
Notes
I use Beaver Brand Honey Mustard Spread, Boar's Head Turkey, Sargento Sharp or Medium Cheddar Cheese Slices, and King's Hawaiian Rolls.
Reheating: Reheat in a preheated 300-degree oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted again. You can also warm them in the microwave in 15-second intervals, though the rolls may not be as crisp.Storing: Place leftover sliders in an airtight container or wrap them well in foil. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
